What's there to share?
53, parent of two daughters, divorced, crossed gender lines after living with the dichotomy for over 4 decades, went through hell, put others through hell, and am here trying to rebuild a life. My spirituality has become quite important, and is best represented by Sue Monk Kidd in Dance of the Dissident Daughter - A Woman's Journey From Christian Tradition to the Sacred Feminine. In addition to finally completing my gender journey with gender reassignment surgery, I have as a goal pursuing education in some form, from a Master's in Counselling to Women's Studies... I'm still contemplating where to focus.
Interests
music, history, friends, laughing, personal histories, kidlets, politics... books... labyrinth, the red tent, dance of the dissident daughter, a handmaid's tale, the effects of light, fried green tomatoes, the expected one, the well of loneliness, blogging, sports, feminism, writing fiction, sepulchre, rubyfruit jungle, 19 minutes, the pact... music has been an integral part of my life, writing in general,
my passions are life, helping me to ponder life issues and how to reconcile issues with what is within.
